Metabolic
Typing
There
is no single diet that works for everyone. The very same foods
that will keep you slim, healthy, and energized can cause
someone else to be overweight, unhealthy, and fatigued. Why
does this happen? Because everyone’s metabolism is unique.
Some people do better with a high carbohydrate diet, others
see better results with more protein and fats. You need to
find out what metabolic type is right for you.
Our Metabolic Typing Appraisal can be done at home from your
own computer. This appraisal is done as part of our Nutrition
and Lifestyle Coaching Assessment.
Core Essentials uses the Healthexcel System of Metabolic Typing
which has evolved over a 25 year period to its present state
of evaluating 9 fundamental homeostatic control mechanisms
in the body.
Metabolic Typing Appraisal looks at these unique factors:
| Autonomic
System |
Sympathetic,
Balanced, Parasympathetic |
| Oxidative
System |

you metabolism, controlling all of the involuntary activities
of the body such as your heart rate, digestion, respiration,
tissue repair and rebuilding, cellular activity, regulation
of your body temperature, immune activity, and countless other
functions.
We combine our Metabolic Typing Analysis results with other
nutrition and lifestyle factors to develop a plan or approach
that will work well for you. It will be tailored directly
to your needs and will be progressed at a rate that allows
